Collaborative exhibition and catalogue with Monique Redmond and Alicia Frankovich (Melbourne) at Project Space and Spare Room, RMIT, Melbourne.
Catalogue essay by Aaron Kriesler
On –going collaborative project over 3 years with staff/artists from RMIT University – ATTRIUM (AUTRMIT) Project – initiated by Ron Left and Monique Redmond in discussion with Elizabeth Grierson (Head of School, RMIT) and David Thomas (coordinator of MFA, RMIT) – including publication, exhibition and symposium collaborative projects. This collaboration is at the initial stage of writing up the scope of the project, identifying artists and writers to be involved, applying for funding and developing a network at the two institutions of people involved.
2004 Vacancy Project – on-going collaborative project with Monique Redmond initiated in 2003.
The first outcome of this project was the Vacancy exhibition 2004, te tuhi gallery, Auckland. Four well known NZ artists were invited to take part in the exhibition and catalogue – John Reynolds, Paul Cullen (MIT Head of Research), Stella Brennan and Haru Sameshima – including work for the exhibition and artist’s pages for the Vacancy catalogue.
The second outcome is the Project Space exhibition and catalogue in Melbourne, March 27 – April 14 2006.
