Vuletic and his Circle

Vuletic and his Circle

Vuletic and his Circle was curated by Edward Hanfling and Alan Wright, profiling the art dealer Petar Vuletic and the development of abstraction in New Zealand. The Petar/James Gallery in Auckland was instrumental in building an Internationally recognised critical environment for abstraction. The exhibition held at THe Gus Fisher Gallery, Auckland, in 2003 included artists involved in the original Vuletic Gallery – Ron Left, Geoff Thornley, Milan MrKusich, Roy Good, Stephen Bambury, Phillip O’Sullivan, Alan Wright, Richard Killeen, Gordon Walters, Ian Scott.

Other Tondo works by Ron Left from the Petar/James period of the early 1970s.
